Sana’a – Saba:
Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami, Deputy Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Third Conference, "Palestine: The Central Cause of the Ummah", affirmed that the conference serves as a foundation for making the capital, Sana’a, a hub for the free people of the world. He emphasized that the outcomes of the conference would be practical and applicable to reality.
In his welcoming speech, Dr. Al-Arami highlighted the significance of the conference in clarifying that the struggle between truth and falsehood is evident. He pointed out that the battles “Al-Aqsa Flood” and “The Promised Victory and the Sacred Jihad” have thwarted the Deal of the Century and various partition projects, including the so-called Greater or New Middle East.
He noted that the conference in Sana’a is being held with the blessing of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and under the directives of His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, along with the follow-up of Supreme Political Council member Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, and Chairman of the Al-Aqsa Support Committee, Scholar Mohammed Muftah.
Al-Arami stated, “In the Arab region, we continue to suffer from division and fragmentation, which are consequences of imperialist conferences, primarily the Zionist Congress held in Basel, Switzerland, in 1897, and the Campbell-Bannerman Conference (1905-1907), which resulted in the establishment of the Zionist entity in Palestine.”
He stressed that the conference aims to shed light on the oppression of the Palestinian people, expose the methods used by the Zionist enemy to deepen that oppression, highlight the dangers of normalization, and emphasize the importance of boycotting Israel. Additionally, it seeks to reinforce a Quranic perspective on the nature of the struggle against the Zionist occupier and to expose the falsehood of Western democracy by analyzing university uprisings in the U.S. and Europe.
Dr. Al-Arami explained that the conference would explore the strategic dimensions of *Operation Al-Aqsa Flood* and the significance of *The Promised Victory and the Sacred Jihad* in restoring the humanitarian dimension of the Palestinian cause. He emphasized that global powers have long sought to strip Palestine of its humanitarian essence, gradually reducing it from an international issue to an Islamic one, then an Arab one, and finally a Palestinian one.
The Deputy Chairman of the Preparatory Committee noted that the conference is structured around seven key themes, all designed to achieve these objectives. He revealed that a total of 272 research papers were submitted, out of which 173 were accepted from 40 institutions, organizations, and universities across various countries, including India, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Malaysia, and Palestine.
He added that holding the conference at this critical time, with participation from Arab, Islamic, and international figures, reaffirms to the world that Palestine has always been, and will always remain, the central cause of the Ummah due to its deep-rooted connection to faith and humanity. He pointed out that Arab nations suffer from a lack of awareness due to their fascination with Western culture, underscoring the urgent need to uphold the faith-based identity among Arab and Islamic societies.
