Officials from Mahweet province convened a meeting on Sunday to assess the performance and operational procedures of the Local Corporation for Water and Sanitation.
Led by Dr. Ali al-Zikam, Secretary-General of the Province's Local Council, the meeting addressed various aspects of the corporation's work, including financial and administrative matters. Participants, including Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Qatma and Corporation Director Abdulghani al-Qatma, discussed the recent decision to separate the city branch from the corporation's central administration.
Key agenda items included: reviewing the tasks and responsibilities of service departments, evaluating job performance and disciplinary measures, addressing administrative and financial challenges and identifying solutions, examining monthly reports and the 2024 annual inventory, and ensuring compliance with administrative regulations and the 2025 budget, and the importance of branches staying within their assigned duties and procedures.
The meeting emphasized the importance of adherence to established protocols to ensure the efficient operation of the water and sanitation corporation.
