Washington - Saba:
The results of a recent poll published by the American "Gallup" studies organization revealed that support for "Israel" among Americans reached its lowest levels in 25 years, and that sympathy for the Palestinians continued on a steady upward trend.
According to Newsweek, the survey was conducted between February 3 and 16, 2025, during the temporary ceasefire and prisoner exchange between the "Israeli" occupation and the Palestinian resistance in Gaza Strip, which came into effect last January.
According to the poll results, support for "Israel" among American adults fell below 46 percent in 2025, for the first time during the time Gallup has been tracking this issue since 2001.
Support for the Palestinians rose to 33 percent, surpassing 30 percent for only the second time in that period; the first spike occurred in 2023, but sentiment declined in 2024 before rising again.
The poll was based on a random sample of 1,004 adults aged 18 or older living in all 50 states, based on telephone conversations, with a margin of error of plus or minus four percent and a 95 percent confidence level.
