Occupied Quds - Saba:
Resistance operations continued in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during the past week, and 70 acts of resistance took place against the occupation soldiers and settlers.
The Palestine Information Center (Maati) indicated in its report issued on Friday that it monitored 70 acts of resistance during the past week, which varied between a shooting operation, the detonation of explosive devices, and the outbreak of confrontations and stone throwing in 41 separate points in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
The center explained that the acts of resistance included a stabbing attack, four shootings and armed clashes, and five detonation of explosive devices, which resulted in the death of an Israeli and the injury of five others.
The resistance operations also included damaging three settler vehicles, he said, as well as repelling seven settler attacks in various areas of the West Bank.
"Maati" documented popular operations, represented in 50 confrontations with the occupation forces and stone-throwing operations, during the repeated incursions of the occupation and its raids on Palestinian cities, camps and villages.
It is noteworthy that the escalation of resistance in the West Bank coincides with a wide aggression carried out by the occupation army in the northern areas of the West Bank, which began in Jenin 47 days ago.
