Gaza - Saba:
Rafah Municipality in the southern Gaza Strip warned on Sunday evening that the municipality teams are no longer able to continue rubble removal and open roads due to fuel shortages as a result of the Zionist siege.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, Rafah Municipality said in a statement that it is managing a disaster-stricken city under extremely difficult circumstances, as the shortage of diesel and machinery threatens the collapse of basic services.
It explained that the fuel shortage disrupts the operation of vital facilities such as water wells and sewage stations, in addition to the halt of equipment needed to remove rubble, which further complicates the situation and threatens a real humanitarian disaster.
The municipality indicated that it was able to provide 70,000 liters of diesel, an amount that is only sufficient for 15 days, at a rate of 5,000 liters per day.
