London - Saba: The United Kingdom announced today, Friday, the imposition of new sanctions on prominent figures with close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to official documents published on the British government website, the sanctions imposed target high-ranking figures in the Russian government, including Deputy Defense Minister Pavel Fradkov, Vladimir Silin, who heads one of the branches of the Russian Defense Ministry, and Artyom Chaika, who is the owner of an extractive company that supports Russian state-owned businesses.
