Sha'ab Hadramawt team strengthened its lead in the men's first division basketball league for the 2024-2025 season, while Al-Mina and Wahdat Sana'a continued to chase it.
The fourth and final stage of the league, which is currently held at the closed sports hall in Seiyun, Hadramawt province, witnessed four matches, where Sha'ab Hadramawt team achieved a big victory over Ahli Sana'a with a score of 81/52.
Al-Sha'ab had no difficulty in beating the Ahli Sana'a in the four periods of the match, which they won 25/10, 13/11, 26/22, and 17/9, respectively.
With this result, Sha'ab Hadramawt raised their balance to 20 points, continuing to top the league standings without loss, while Ahli Sana'a's balance reached 14 points, keeping the fourth place by Iskur difference from the fifth Shamsan.
Al-Mina defeated the host team Seiyun 74/55, in a match that witnessed a draw between the two teams, as the first period ended in a 14/14 draw, before Al-Mina prevailed in the rest of the periods 19/13, 27/17, and 14/11 respectively.
With this result, Al-Mina raised its score to 19 points, continuing to chase the leaders by occupying second place, while Seiyun's score is now 13 points at the bottom of the standings.
Sana'a Unity regained its balance after it won a valuable victory over Al-Tallal 77/59, after its surprise loss yesterday to host Seiyun.
