Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanua said that the resistance's decision not to hand over prisoners next Saturday is the responsibility of the head of the Zionist enemy government, Benjamin Netanyahu.
In media statements on Monday evening, Al-Qanua explained that the Zionist enemy violated the ceasefire agreement in the past weeks, preventing the entry of aid, fuel and tents, and firing at citizens in several areas, which led to the martyrdom of a number of citizens.
He noted that the movement appealed to the mediators a week ago to oblige the enemy to implement what was agreed upon in the first phase.
He reiterated that the movement is committed to the ceasefire agreement as long as the Zionist enemy is committed to it.
Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Obeida announced that the handover of Zionist prisoners scheduled to be released on Saturday would be postponed until further notice.
