Cairo-Saba:
The Egyptian capital, Cairo, is hosting a meeting of six Arab countries today, Saturday, to discuss developments in the region, consolidating the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and ways to support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) after it was banned by Israel.

The meeting is scheduled to be attended by the foreign ministers of Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Hussein al-Sheikh, and the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.

The meeting will discuss developments in the region, especially efforts to consolidate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, and to provide sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to all parts of the Strip, and the need to support UNRWA and enable it to fulfill its international mandate.
