UN spokeswoman Eri Kaneko confirmed that the international organization is committed to delivering humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip during the ceasefire, but aid can only be delivered as much as conditions on the ground permit.
Eri Kaneko, spokeswoman for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, said in a statement: "It is necessary to remove the various obstacles that the United Nations has faced over the past year, which include restrictions on the entry of goods, lack of safety and security, the collapse of law and order, and fuel shortages."
