The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced on Monday evening that it had successfully carried out a complex operation in the "Al-Najili" area in the Al-Shaboura camp in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
The Qassam Brigades said in a military statement that the Mujahideen targeted a building where a Zionist infantry force of 25 soldiers was fortified, and dealt with them using various types of weapons, resulting in the deaths and injuries of all members of the force.
The statement added that the rescue force that tried to reach the site was exposed to a minefield explosion in two troop carriers, which resulted in their destruction.
The Qassam Brigades noted in its statement that the fire is still burning in the building, while the clash is still ongoing in the area.
