Occupied al-Quds - Saba:
A group of 191 Israeli settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque in two separate incursions on Wednesday under heavy Israeli enemy police protection.
The settlers, who entered the mosque through Mughrabi Gate, performed religious rituals and conducted provocative tours of the mosque's courtyards.
These actions occurred while Palestinian worshippers faced restrictions on their access to their holy sites.
This incident follows a period of heightened tensions, particularly during the recent "Festival of Lights" (Hanukkah), which saw a significant increase in settler incursions into al-Aqsa Mosque.
In 2024, a record 59,911 extremist settlers stormed the mosque, with many performing religious rituals within its precincts.
The ongoing escalation of settler incursions, coupled with restrictions on Palestinian access to al-Aqsa Mosque, raises serious concerns about the escalating tensions and the potential for further violence in al-Quds.
