Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expected cold to very cold weather in a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that cold to very cold weather is expected in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar and Al Bayda.
It indicated that the weather may be relatively cold to cold in the highlands of Ibb, Al Dhale'e, Lahj, Abyan, Hadramout and Al Mahrah and desert areas.
The center explained that the lowest temperatures recorded in some meteorological monitoring stations this morning reached 4 in Dhamar, 4.1 in Al Bayda, 5 in Sana'a and Amran, 8.6 in Ibb, and 9.6 in Al Mahwit.
It warned citizens in the mountainous highlands of cold and very cold weather during the night and early morning hours.
The center advised farmers to take the necessary measures to protect crops from the effects of severe cold, as well as livestock herders, beekeepers and poultry farmers to preserve them.
