Two Palestinian citizens, one of them a journalist, were martyred and others were injured today, Sunday, in Zionist enemy shelling of northern Gaza Strip and Rafah city in the south.

The Palestinian "Wafa" Agency reported, quoting local Palestinian sources, that writer and journalist Muhammad Hijazi was martyred as a result of the enemy shelling of northern Gaza Strip.

It added that civil defense teams recovered a martyr as a result of Zionist enemy shelling of the Musbah area north of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.

Zionist enemy warplanes bombed land in the vicinity of the bicycle market in the Qizan Rashwan area south of Khan Yunis city, coinciding with violent shelling of scattered areas of the governorate.

The Zionist enemy continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which resulted in the martyrdom of 45,717 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 108,856 others, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, and ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
