Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi was briefed on the general performance of the Central Auditing and Control Agency (CACA) and its vital role within the national system of integrity and anti-corruption.
During his visit today to the Central Auditing and Control Organization (CACO), the Prime Minister listened to an explanation of the organization's activities in its sectors, namely the control sector over the units of the economic sector, including public and mixed, the control sector over the units of the administrative sector, ministries and government departments, the control sector over administrative units in the provinces and subsidized units that receive financial support from the state treasury, as well as local councils, and the financial, administrative and technical affairs sector.
The Prime Minister visited the CRA library, which includes a wide range of titles in the fields of management, accounting and economics that benefit employees, workers and researchers, in addition to visiting the archive, which includes documents and reports of the CRA from 1974 until 2024.
Al-Emad explained that the documents and reports issued by the agency are being automated since 2018, while arrangements are being made to start electronic archiving for previous years, specifically since 1974.
The Prime Minister emphasized the vital role of the Central Auditing and Control Agency (CACA) in serving the governance process and early confrontation of imbalances and abuses in public service units.
He praised the cadres and expertise of the agency and the importance of investing all available energies to enhance and develop the vital monitoring role of this institutional framework, praising the efforts exerted by the leadership and cadres of the agency to achieve the set goals and objectives and contribute to the fight against corruption.
