Taiz - Saba:
In the presence of acting governor Ahmed Amin Al-Masawi and a member of the Supreme Judicial Council - the Mufti of the province - Judge Alawi Sahl bin Aqeel, mass crowds gathered to celebrate Rajab Friday - the anniversary of the Yemeni people entry into Islam.
For two days, until before today's Friday prayers, religious lectures, songs, chants and poems were delivered, expressing the spirituality of Rajab Friday and its emotional, and faithful connection to the people of Yemen since the dawn of Islam.
Allama Alawi Sahl bin Aqeel delivered two Friday sermons, in which he highlighted the steadfastness of Yemenis in their faith, their trust and reliance on God, and said, "Believers are brothers, even if they differ."
Allama bin Aqeel expressed praise and thanks to God Almighty for the security, safety, pride, dignity and stability bestowed on the Yemenis, pointing out that Yemen today, under the wise leadership, is fighting the fiercest battle with the forces of global evil, and writing heroic epics in support of the vulnerable in Palestine.
He considered the battle that Yemen is fighting as a hinge based on humanitarian and moral principles in standing by the side of the vulnerable in Gaza. He called on everyone to return to the truth, reunite and stand united in the face of the challenges that are being plotted against Yemen and Yemenis.
