The Zionist enemy army admitted, at dawn on Monday, that an officer in the Givati Brigade was seriously injured during battles with the resistance in northern Gaza.
The occupation army had previously announced the death of a soldier in battles north of Gaza, and the serious injury of a soldier in another incident north of Gaza.
The occupation army radio said yesterday, Sunday, that "40 Israeli soldiers have been killed since the start of the ongoing military operation north of the Gaza Strip, in October 2024."
The occupation army indicated that 824 of its soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023, including soldiers killed by Palestinian resistance fire in the West Bank, operations in the territories occupied in 1948, and the confrontation with "Hezbollah" in southern Lebanon.
It is worth noting that about 5,541 soldiers were injured according to the data of the occupation army, the authenticity of which is questioned amid accusations of concealing a larger toll of its losses.
