Sana'a - Saba:

Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi honored the crew of a Yemenia Airlines plane for their bravery in successfully landing at Sana'a International Airport while it was under aggression by Israeli bombs.

The ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Transport and Public Works in collaboration with the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, took place on Saturday in the capital Sana'a.

The event celebrated the pilots' courageous decision to land the plane despite the ongoing Zionist bombing of the airport.

Prime Minister al-Rahawi praised the crew's determination, describing the act as a reflection of Yemen’s resilience, courage, and faith in God.

Al-Rahawi reaffirmed Yemen's commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that the Yemeni people and their armed forces would continue to back the Palestinian people and their fighters in Gaza.

He also stressed Yemen's readiness to rebuild vital infrastructure damaged by the aggression attacks and vowed to escalate responses against the Israeli enemy.

Minister of Transport Mohammed Quhaim commended the plane crew's professionalism and quick thinking, noting that their actions reflected strong patriotism and dedication to serving Yemen, despite the challenges posed by the conflict.

Khalil Jahaf, Acting Chairman of Yemenia Airlines, hailed the crew's courage and sacrifice, calling it a model of professionalism under extreme circumstances.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the crew members—Captain Abdullah al-Shafta, Captain Ahmed Allaw, and Captain Walid al-Khatri—were awarded ministry shields and certificates of appreciation for their heroic efforts.
