The spokesman for the Zionist enemy army admitted last night the killing of two officers and the wounding of others seriously during the ground battles in the northern Gaza Strip.

The spokesman stated that the dead were Captain Amit Levi, commander of a crew in the 6551st Reconnaissance Battalion, and Major Hod Shreibman, commander of a platoon in the Ghost Unit.

He explained that Levi was killed in an ambush south of Gaza City, while Shreibman was killed by an explosive device detonated north of the Strip.

The spokesman for the occupation army indicated that three soldiers were seriously wounded in battles north of the Strip, one of whom was a tank commander.
