Oil prices saw a significant increase in Monday afternoon trading, with US crude reaching its highest level in approximately a month and a half, specifically since April 22.
By 2:52 PM Sana'a time, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures for July delivery rose 0.5% to $64.89 per barrel. Earlier in the day, contracts had surpassed $65 for the first time since April 22, according to RIA Novosti.
Brent crude futures for August delivery also saw a rise, climbing 0.59% to $66.85 per barrel, based on trading data.
