The United Nations revealed today, Monday, that the Zionist enemy authorities have demolished 1528 Palestinian facilities in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of 2024.
The United Nations indicated that the demolitions led to the displacement of 3,637 Palestinians and affected 163,769 others.
Demolitions in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem have escalated since the start of the occupation's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
On Sunday, the Quds Governorate said in a statement that the occupation forces carried out 391 demolitions and bulldozing of houses and facilities in the governorate since the start of the aggression on Gaza in October 2023.
The occupation authorities follow a policy of demolishing citizens' homes and confiscating their lands in the West Bank, with the aim of displacing them from them in order to seize them for settlement expansion.
