The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Mawlid, congratulated the Al-Ahli Club team in Sana'a for winning its match with the Omani Dhofar Club team in Salalah, within the Gulf Club Championship.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Minister Al-Mawlid praised the efforts, enjoyable performance, and advanced level shown by the Al-Ahlawi football team in the match, which resulted in a two-goal victory over its host Dhofar of Oman.
He expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the players and the technical and administrative staff, urging them to redouble efforts and insist on walking the path of excellence and the happiness of the Yemeni fans eager to continue the march of superiority and win the points of the next match in Doha against Dhofar Club back and seek to snatch one of the cards to qualify for the Golden Square.
Meanwhile, the Al-Ahly Club delegation expressed gratitude to the Minister of Youth and Sports for his follow-up and his role in supporting and sponsoring the Al-Ahlawi team participating in this tournament.
