The Office of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources in Marib Governorate has begun distributing ten tons of improved wheat seeds to prepare for the agricultural season as part of the "Emergency Agriculture and Winter Season in the Governorate" program.
At the inauguration, Fares al-Qanisi, director of the agriculture office in the province, explained that the distribution of seeds comes within the framework of the expansion project in the emergency agriculture program this year, and their distribution to the directorates as a first stage, to achieve the objectives of the development plan to promote the agricultural sector in the province.
He pointed out that the Agriculture Office will work to provide all agricultural facilities and services to farmers in order to push the wheel of agricultural development forward, leading to self-sufficiency. He called on farmers to take advantage of the facilities and move towards growing grains and legumes.
