Abuja - Saba:
A tragic explosion involving a fuel tanker in Jigawa State, northern Nigeria, has resulted in the deaths of at least 94 individuals and injuries to 50 others on Wednesday.
According to Lawan Adamu, spokesman for the state police, the explosion occurred under unclear circumstances on a roadway in Jigawa.
The injured victims have been transported to local hospitals for treatment, although the severity of their conditions has not been disclosed.
Adamu expressed grave concern over the rising death toll from this devastating incident, highlighting the urgent need for investigation and safety measures to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
