Gaza - Saba:

The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the death toll of journalists has risen to 177, following the assassination of Ayman Mohammed Ruwaished, a cameraman for al-Aqsa TV.

According to a statement from the Palestine Online website, the fatalities have occurred since the outbreak of hostilities on October 7, 2023, attributed to what officials describe as a genocidal campaign by Israeli forces in the region.

The office condemned the targeting and killing of Palestinian journalists, placing full responsibility for these actions on Israeli forces.

It called on the international community and human rights organizations to hold the occupation accountable in international courts, urging them to take action against the ongoing violence and the systematic assassination of journalists.

Media reports confirmed that Ayman Ruwaished was killed on Monday evening when he was targeted in Jabalia camp, located in northern Gaza.
