SANA'A - SABA: Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahawi held a meeting on Tuesday with chairman of the Southern Movement component participating in the National Dialogue Conference Ghaleb Mutlaq and the movement's Secretary-General Saeed Bakhail.
The discussions focused on the component's role and activities during this critical period for Yemen, particularly regarding national issues such as confronting aggression and opposing occupation.
The Prime Minister praised Mutlaq's contributions as a former minister and expressed confidence in his continued leadership to strengthen the movement's political role.
Al-Rahawi emphasized that resolving national issues requires a united Yemen, free from external influences, and highlighted the need for enhanced communication with various national unity groups, especially in the southern governorates.
This collaboration is aimed at addressing the challenges of aggression and preserving the unity and stability of Greater Yemen.
Mutlaq reaffirmed the Southern Movement's commitment to national unity from the capital, Sana'a, and articulated a vision for resolving southern issues within a national framework.
He noted the current discord among factions aligned with Saudi-Emirati interests and the growing realization among southern and eastern leaders that a secure and prosperous future for Yemen can only be achieved through a unified state.
