TEHRAN September 07. 2024 (Saba) — Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani has accused the Zionist entity of employing a "scorched earth strategy" following its recent military operations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Kanaani's remarks, reported by Tasnim International News Agency, came after Israeli forces withdrew from Jenin and Tulkarm following a ten-day incursion into Jenin and four days of attacks on Tulkarm.

He criticized the extensive destruction of infrastructure in Gaza and parts of the northern West Bank, particularly Jenin and Tulkarm, as evidence of the Zionist entity's failure to achieve a decisive victory over the resistance and Palestinian people.

Kanaani called on countries and international organizations to prevent further war crimes in the West Bank by the occupation entity.
