OCCUPIED QUDS September 04. 2024 (Saba) - Israeli media on Wednesday said one Zionist soldier was killed and five others were injured, during fierce battles between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation forces in the city of Jenin.
"A soldier was killed and five others were injured during the ongoing military operation in Jenin," the Zionist Walla website said.
Following the fierce clashes with the resistance, the Israeli army decided to reinforce its forces in the West Bank with additional forces from the "Border Guard", engineering vehicles, and special forces from the reserve.
Al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Battalion, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, on Tuesday evening said its fighters in all formations continue to fight fierce battles with the enemy forces on the combat axes.
Jenin Battalion said in a military statement, "Our fighters are showering the invading forces with heavy volleys of bullets and explosive devices, achieving direct hits."
In another statement, the Jenin Battalion indicated that its fighters were able to detonate a pre-prepared explosive device at occupation vehicles in the Hamama axis, achieving direct hits.
