KIEV September 04. 2024 (Saba) - The speaker of the Rada Parliament, Rasphagna Ruslan Stevanchuk, on Wednesday said that several government ministers have submitted a request to resign.
Stevanchuk wrote on Facebook: "The Parliament Rada of Ukraine has received a request for resignation from Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
"The application will be considered at one of the next plenary meetings."
Stevanchuk reported on Tuesday that Justice Minister Denis Maliuska, Strategic Industries Minister Alexander Kamishyn, Environmental Protection Ministry chief Ruslan Strelets and Deputy Prime Minister for European and Atlantic Integration Olga Stephanishna had submitted their resignations to parliament.
Ukrainian parliamentarian Yaroslav Zelyznyak said earlier that there were possible changes in the government and dismissals of staff this week in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, including the dismissal of Foreign Minister Kuleba and Justice Minister Denis Maliuska from their posts.
David Arakhamia, head of Vladimir Zelensky's Servant of the People party bloc in the Ukrainian parliament, said it was possible to expect a major reset of the Ukrainian government, with 50% of government employees going through changes.
