Hamas leader: We will break Netanyahu, he will submit to us

Hamas leader: We will break Netanyahu, he will submit to us

GAZA September 3. 2024 (Saba) - The leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Mahmoud Al-Mardawi, said that the conditions of the head of the Zionist enemy government, Benjamin Netanyahu, in the ongoing negotiations “will disappear and fall,” pledging to impose the will of the resistance and the Palestinian people on him.

Al-Mardawi stressed in his interview with Al-Jazeera that the release of the Zionist prisoners in the Gaza Strip will only happen through a prisoner exchange deal, stressing that any agreement will not be reached except through a complete Zionist withdrawal from the Netzarim and Philadelphi axes.

He added, “The resistance said that this file will not be closed except through an agreement, and it cannot be done with the presence of a single Zionist soldier on the land of Gaza,” noting that this is what Hamas conveyed to the Qatari and Egyptian mediators.

He considered the release of the Zionist prisoners through military action a disastrous failure, holding Netanyahu fully responsible, and accusing him of obstructing all proposals and placing obstacles in the way of concluding an exchange deal.

Al-Mardawi continued, threatening, “We will break Netanyahu, he will submit to us and we will force him to act according to our will, and he will not achieve any of his goals,” stressing that Netanyahu will only submit to pressure, which was confirmed by Abu Obeida, the spokesman for the Qassam Brigades - the military wing of Hamas - in his recent tweets. He sent a message to Washington stating that the war exposes the strategic interests of the United States in the region to danger, as Netanyahu is pushing towards a regional war “if he continues in his security and intelligence blindness and political failure.”
