NEW YORK August 29. 2024 (Saba) - The United Nations on Thursday condemned the Zionist army for targeting a humanitarian vehicle in Gaza, belonging to the international organization.
According to 'Palestine Today' agency, the spokesman for the United Nations, Stephane Dujarric, said that the occupation soldiers targeted the vehicle ten times with bullets, some of them targeting the front windows, while travelling in a convoy whose movement was fully coordinated with the occupation army.
Dujarric added that the vehicle was hit by at least ten bullets, including five on the side of the driver, two on the side of the passengers and three in other parts of the car, pointing out that none of the employees who were on board the car suffered physical harm.
The UN spokesman said respect of international humanitarian law is the duty of the Zionist army at all times, including the protection of civilians and the provision of their basic needs, including food, water, shelter and health wherever they are in the besieged Gaza Strip.
