GAZA August 28. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine has asserted that al-Quds Brigades in the West Bank are engaged in intense battles, resisting the Zionist enemy's "military" campaign in the northern cities of the occupied West Bank.
In a statement issued at dawn on Wednesday, the movement declared that the Zionist forces are conducting a comprehensive aggression against West Bank cities and refugee camps.
This "military" campaign, according to the movement, is part of a broader strategy to exert control over al-Qus and the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque.
The statement highlighted that the enemy has imposed a strict siege on West Bank areas using hundreds of soldiers and armored vehicles, aiming to subdue the Palestinian population and undermine their resistance.
The Islamic Jihad Movement called on the international community to urgently intervene to halt these massacres and violations, holding the Zionist forces entirely accountable for the consequences of their aggressive actions.
It also urged the Arab and Islamic communities to take prompt and decisive measures to support the Palestinian people and their sacred sites, condemning the ongoing aggression as an attempt to undermine the Palestinian cause.
