MOSCOW August 27. 2024 (Saba) -The armed forces have taken control of Orlovka town in Donetsk, east Ukraine, and targeted vital infrastructure of airports with intense airstrikes, the Russian defense ministry on Tuesday.
The forces targeted many areas in the two Ukrainian counties of Donetsk and Kherson, leaving some 760 troops killed or injured and a tank, 9 combating armored vehicles, 6 cars, several cannons and electronic war station damaged, the ministry added in a statement.
Air defenses downed 4 tactical missiles, 3 Hammer guided bombs and 31 drones, according to the statement.
Last night, the forces launched an intense attack with high-precise, long-range guns including Kingal missiles and offensive drones targeting vital infrastructure of Ukraine's airports, the ministry said.
