TAIZ August 26. 2024 (Saba) - The Board of Directors of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Taiz Governorate, headed by Acting Governor Ahmed Amin Al-Masawi, discussed on Monday aspects of preparation to raise the level of cleanliness and improvement within the framework of preparations for the celebration of the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet for the year 1446 AH.
The meeting, attended by the governorate's Secretary General, Mohamed Ahmed Al-Hajj, and the Undersecretary, Abdul Wahab Al-Junaid, approved the Fund's final account for the year 1445 AH.
In the meeting, Acting Governor Al-Massawi stressed the Fund's management to take responsibility for following up and collecting all resources, stressing the importance of enhancing citizens' confidence in the Hygiene Fund and allocating telephone numbers to be distributed in lanes and markets to report any accumulation of waste.
He directed the formation of a small operations room to receive citizens' reports and inform the officials of the cleaning project to move immediately to remove any waste. He pointed to the importance of integrating efforts and roles to contribute to showing the capitals of cities in a sophisticated appearance within the framework of preparations for commemorating the Prophet's birthday.
Al-Massawi pointed out that everyone must play their role in carrying out the tasks entrusted to him, especially with regard to service and development projects that contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens in light of the continued aggression and siege.
For his part, the Executive Director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, Talal Al-Sufi, confirmed that the Fund began decorating the streets and launching cleaning works, improving and afforestation in the streets, markets and lanes, and raising flags in preparation for receiving the Prophet's birthday.
He touched on aspects related to the office's plan for the year 1446 AH, and the activities, tasks and projects it includes that contribute to improving the cleanliness of cities.
