MAHWEET August 26. 2024 (Saba) -The implementing unit for roads pavement and maintenance in Mahweet on Monday began reopening main roads and subways and removing rocks left by recent floods.
The unit's teams commenced applying remedies to tackle floods damages and reopening roads including Mahweet-Sana'a road, director of the unit said.
The teams removed waste from roads affected by earth slides, reopened roads, correct damages suffered by locals and alleviated their sufferings, Eng. Mohamed al-Qahtani added.
Emergency are underway to avoid further damages, smoothen traffic and protect public and private properties in accordance with the action plan, he said.
