GAZA August 21. 2024 (Saba) - Hamas confirmed on Wednesday that while the United Nations and all countries of the world celebrate the International Day of Remembrance and Reverence for the Victims of Terrorism in the world, which falls on August 21, the Palestinian people are still subjected to the most heinous war of genocide, ethnic cleansing and systematic destruction of all aspects of human life in the Gaza Strip.
The movement said in a statement: These massacres continue for ten full months, killing more than 40 thousand martyrs, most of them women and children, more than 93 thousand wounded and injured, more than ten thousand missing under the rubble, and thousands of kidnapped and detained in prisons and detention centers of the Zionist enemy amid the inability and international failure to stop the terrorism of the Zionist entity against more than two million Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip.
The Movement stressed that the International Day of Commemoration of the Victims of Terrorism and their Homage in the World places the United Nations and the international community, with its institutions and organizations, before a historic responsibility for the need to work hard and responsibly to expose the terrorism of this Zionist entity against the Palestinian people, and to escalate and continue all practical measures to try it in the International Tribunals of Justice and Criminal Crimes, and not to be satisfied with statements and condemnations that the fascist Zionist enemy government deals with recklessly, in light of the bias and support of the United States, and the absence of a deterrent to curb its terrorism against our land, people and holy sites.
The movement added: Our Palestinian people are victims of organized and continuous terrorism for more than seven decades, practiced by the Zionist enemy, in flagrant violation of all international norms and charters and divine laws, and brazen defiance and disregard for the resolutions issued by international and international institutions, as a rogue entity that evades all human values and moral principles.
