KUWAIT August 20. 2024 (Saba) - Kuwait Stock Exchange on Tuesday closed trading with its general index down by 9.48 points to reach 7117.68 points, a decrease of 0.13 percent.

225.14 million shares were traded through 16,406 cash transactions worth 44.5 million dinars (about 135.7 million dollars).

The main market index fell by 14.57 points to reach 6035.76 points, a decrease of 0.24 percent through trading 126.2 million shares through 7939 cash transactions worth 16.7 million dinars (about 50.9 million dollars).

The Premier Market Index also fell by 8.59 points to reach 7748.23 points, a decrease of 0.11 percent, through trading 98.8 million shares through 8467 transactions worth 27.8 million dinars (about 84.7 million dollars).

In parallel, the (Main 50) Index fell by 26.35 points to reach 5859.96 points, a decrease of 0.45 percent, through trading 66.4 million shares through 4271 cash transactions worth 11.5 million dinars (about 35 million dollars).
