SANA'A August 18. 2024 (Saba) - A handover ceremony took place on Sunday at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Sana'a, marking the transition of leadership from outgoing Minister Obaid Salem bin Dabi'a to incoming Minister Samir Baja'ala.

The ceremony saw Minister Baja'ala commend the achievements of his predecessor. Despite facing numerous challenges, Minister bin Dabi'a was praised for his contributions to the ministry.

Minister Baja'ala acknowledged the significant challenges currently confronting social sectors and urged all ministry leaders and employees to embrace their responsibilities and contribute to national progress.

He also highlighted the guidance of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, emphasizing his commitment to national unity and advancement.

In his farewell address, Minister bin Dabi'a extended his best wishes to Minister Baja'ala, urging continued collaboration to support the Government of Change and Construction's objectives.

He expressed gratitude to the ministry's staff for their efforts during his tenure, despite the prevailing difficulties.
