KUWAIT August 13. 2024 (Saba) - Kuwait Stock Exchange on Tuesday closed trading with its general index down 43.20 points, to 7009.61 points, a decrease of 0.61 percent.

199.9 million shares were traded through 13,181 cash transactions worth 49 million Kuwaiti dinars (about 149.4 million US dollars).

The main market index increased 29.86 points to reach 5983.84 points, an increase of 0.50 percent through trading 88.16 million shares through 5105 cash transactions worth 13 million dinars (about 39.6 million dollars).

The Premier Market Index fell 64.86 points to reach 7620.04 points, a decline of 0.84 percent, through trading 111.7 million shares through 8076 transactions worth KWD 36 million (about $109.8 million).

In parallel, the (Main 50) Index rose 68.96 points to reach 5844.27 points, a growth rate of 1.19 percent, through trading 36.3 million shares through 2595 cash transactions worth KWD 5.3 million (about $16.16 million).
