BEIRUT August 12. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, led by Hezbollah, on Monday claimed responsibility for targeting three military sites of the Zionist enemy army on Lebanese-Palestine borders.
"In support of Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, our mujahedeen targeted on Monday afternoon the Al-Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills with artillery shells," the Islamic Resistance said on its Telegram channel.
It added that its mujahedeen also targeted the spy equipment at the Metulla site with appropriate weapons and directly hit it, leading to its destruction.
Lebanese Resistance also bombed the new headquarters of the 146th Division Command in Jatoun with volleys of Katyusha rockets, noting that this attack was a response to the Zionist enemy’s attacks on southern villages and civilian homes, especially in the town of Ma’roub.
This comes after the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon launched a massive attack, at dawn today, on the northern settlements with dozens of rockets, some of which fell in the occupied Palestinian territories, leading to the outbreak of several fires.
Zionist media reported that Hezbollah in Lebanon launched an attack with dozens of missiles on the northern settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Press sources said that there were explosions in Nahariya, the Western Galilee, and Capri, north of the occupied territories, as a result of missiles launched from Lebanon.
Zionist Home Front reported that sirens were sounded in Nahariya, eastern Akko, and the Upper Galilee as a result of Hezbollah bombing.
Zionist Rescue and Fire Authority also announced that a fire had broken out in the Western Galilee as a result of missiles falling from Lebanon.
