BERLIN August 11. 2024 (Saba) - German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has made a phone call to the Prime Minister of the Zionist enemy Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he stressed the need for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Reuters quoted the German government spokesman as saying today, Sunday, that Scholz told Netanyahu that "it is time to complete the agreement on the release of prisoners and a ceasefire."

He added that the German Chancellor also stressed to Netanyahu the importance of breaking the cycle of destructive retaliatory violence in the Middle East.

"A ceasefire in Gaza will be a decisive step towards reducing the escalation in the Middle East," he continued.
