GAZA August 07. 2024 (Saba) -Polio still risks to spread in Gaza, director-general of healthcare at the Palestinian health ministry said on Wednesday, as the Zionist aggression persists and the Strip's people are denied access to hygiene supplies.

Gaza Strip needs 1.3 million vaccines to fight polio, but the occupier so far disallows their delivery, Musa Aabid added in remarks to media.

Any delay in vaccination delivery would further worsen the already deteriorated health conditions, and leave critical impacts on the health of children and other vulnerable segments, such as the aged and sick people, he warned.
