RAFAH August 06. 2024 (Saba) - Al-Qassam Battalions, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, carried out on Tuesday a tight ambush for Zionist enemy forces stealing into Rafah, destroying and targeting four of their vehicles, and causing direct hits.
The Battalions said in a military statement: The Qassam mujahedeen managed to trap a Zionist armored force in a tight ambush.
Our mujahedeen destroyed two Nimr personnel carriers with a Commando Action device and two Al-Yassin 105 shells, they added.
Later, "two Merkava tanks were targeted with a ground bomb and a 'Al-Yassin 105' shell on George Street near the Al-Taabi'een Mosque east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip."
Al-Qassam confirmed that its mujahedeen saw helicopters landing to evacuate the soldiers, as the clashes are still continuing until the moment (Tuesday morning).
