Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to defend its sovereignty, emphasizing that the United States must receive an appropriate response for its military aggression against Iran.

Tasnim International News Agency reported that in response to the French president's call for restraint on the part of Tehran, Pezeshkian said: "America is the one who initiated the aggression against us, if you were in our place, what would you do? Naturally, the aggressor must receive an appropriate response."
