MOGADISHU August 03. 2024 (Saba) - At least 20 people were killed on Friday evening in a suicide attack in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, claimed by Al-Shabaab.
"At least 20 people were killed in a powerful explosion that rocked the famous Beach View Hotel on Lido Beach in Mogadishu on Friday evening... Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack," the local newspaper "Garowe" reported on the Internet, according to the Russian Sputnik News Agency.
There were reports of police presence at the scene, fearing a rise in the death toll.
