GAZA July 31. 2024 (Saba) - Palestinian resistance factions have executed a series of operations targeting Zionist enemy forces and settlers across the West Bank.
Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's military wing, claimed responsibility for two shooting attacks in Hebron.
One attack targeted a Zionist settler near "Kiryat Arba" settlement, and another targeted enemy forces near the Ibrahimi Mosque.
Palestinian media described these actions as swift responses to the recent assassination of national leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades also reported targeting enemy soldiers on "Mount Gerizim" with machine gun fire, while the Al-Quds Brigades’ "Jenin Battalion" launched an attack on the "Shaked" settlement.
Zionist media confirmed additional assaults, including Molotov cocktails thrown at settlers' vehicles near the "Migdalim" settlement. The West Bank is currently observing a general strike to mourn Haniyeh’s assassination, following a call from Palestinian national and Islamic forces.
Hamas announced that Ismail Haniyeh, head of its political bureau, was assassinated by Zionist forces in Tehran, Iran, during his visit for the inauguration of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
