BAGHDAD July 31. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, known as Hezbollah Brigades, on Wednesday condemned the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas Political Bureau, characterizing it as a sign of the enemy's failure to address resistance strategies effectively.
In their statement, the brigades criticized the Zionist-American adversaries for their "habit of treachery" and targeting civilians when faced with determined resistance.
They described the assassination of Haniyeh as a desperate move by the enemy to undermine the resilience of resistance forces in Palestine.
The brigades accused the Zionist-American forces of violating engagement rules by carrying out the assassination at Haniyeh's guest house in Tehran, asserting that such acts would not weaken the resistance's resolve.
They emphasized that the bloodshed of Haniyeh would only fuel the commitment of free people dedicated to resistance and justice.
