KUWAIT July 30. 2024 (Saba) - The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Kuwait, Mohammad Totonji, announced today, Monday, that Kuwait has agreed to transfer 22 Iranian prisoners from its prisons to Iran.

With efforts and follow-ups, an agreement was reached to transfer 22 of our country's prisoners in Kuwaiti prisons to serve the remaining sentences inside the country, Tasnim International News Agency quoted Totonji in a post of his, saying.

The Iranian ambassador indicated that administrative follow-up in this regard is on the agenda.
