SANA'A July 29. 2024 (Saba) - The Education Office in Sana'a Province organized a speech event on Imam Zaid martyrdom anniversary , peace be upon him, under the slogan "Insight and Jihad".
In the event, the first deputy governor, Hamid Asim, stressed the importance of commemorating this anniversary to urge people to bear responsibility and stand up for the injustice that Palestinians and others are subjected to, embodying the saying of Imam Zaid, peace be upon him: (By God, the Book of God does not let me be silent).
He pointed out that Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, led the ranks of revolutionaries to return the nation to the right path, stressing that his revolution was an extension of the revolution of his grandfather, Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in Karbala in defense of God's religion and confronting the forces of Umayyad tyranny.
For his part, the Deputy Director of the Education Office in the province, Amin Al-Jalal, reviewed Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, life stages and his jihad history , comparing them to the reality of the nation today and what is happening from the forces of tyranny and global arrogance in this era, most notably the trio of evil, America, Britain and Israel.
He stressed the need to learn about the correct Islamic history, correct deviant and misguided ideas and false cultures, strengthen the aggression confrontation , its tools, thwart its colonial plans and attempt to strip Yemenis of their faith identity.
