SANA'A July 27. 2024 (Saba)— The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital Sana'a on Saturday condemned the ongoing international and regional indifference to the genocide and war crimes committed by the Zionist-Nazi entity against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Arab territories.
In a statement, the Ministry expressed outrage over the latest horrific massacre carried out by the Zionist-Nazi entity at Sayyida Khadija School in Deir al-Balah area of central Gaza.
This attack resulted in killing over 36 people and injured more than 100, marking a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, particularly the four Geneva Conventions.
The Ministry warned that the continuation of Nazi aggression in the Gaza Strip will not be confined to the occupied Palestinian territories but will have serious repercussions on international peace and security, including threatening the security of regimes supporting the Zionist entity.
The Ministry called on the international community, especially the United States as a permanent member of the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities under the United Nations Charter and cease its unconditional support for the Zionist entity.
It stressed that such support undermines the international legal system and the credibility of the United Nations.
Concluding its statement, the Ministry emphasized the centrality of the Palestinian issue and urged Arab and Islamic governments that have normalized or are considering normalizing relations with the Zionist entity to reassess their positions.
It called on these governments to align with their people's demands for a just solution to the Palestinian issue and the establishment of a Palestinian state with al-Quds al-Sharif as its capital.
